What you need
The trick to cutting off corn is having a bundt pan and a sharp chef's knife.
The center of the bundt pan will stabilize the corn perfectly in place and stops the corn from falling over.
It will also allow the corn kernels to fall directly into the pan, preventing any mess.
If you do not have a bundt pan, you can purchase this Nordic Ware ProForm Bundt Pan with Handles, 12 Cup, standart on Amazon. It is good quality and inexpensive.
A sharp chef's knife is the best for this method.
It will cut easier and cut more corn kernels at one time than a smaller pairing knife.
